May 1-31 2011.

During the 2011 edition of La Biennale de Montreal, short, medium and feature length films will be screened each Sunday in May at Cinéma du Parc. Curated around the theme "The Temptation of chance", a total of sixteen works dealing with poetry, imagination and the random in art will be screened by directors of diverse nationalities.
For this coming Sunday, four films are scheduled.
Starting at 3pm, Jo Legare, muse and companion of the celebrated Quebec artist Guido Molinari will show her film "Guido Molinari: The last conversation". Legare’s piece offers both a moving testimony on Molinari’s final days, as well the opportunity for an intensive and deep look at art and life.
In addition, two films from Gabriel Lester, "The Big One" and "Cleromancy No. 2." will be screened, while at 5pm, German artist John Bock will present "Im Schatten der Made," (In the Shadow of the Maggot) a narrative feature film, shot with professional actors. Bock’s film focuses on a menage a trois between a priest, a scientist and his wife, told in parallel with the creation and animation of an android.
